JAPAN 🇯🇵
Quick Instagram Dispatch from the Theatre District, Manhattan:
Many Japanese restaurants that cater to Japanese patrons are often times specialists in one type of dish or style. Those with non-Japanese clientele tend to have menus that encompass as much as possible. Despite its name, Donburiya is somewhere in the middle, with a full section of donburi options, but also a lot of other items to cater to the walk-in crowds they are bound to get in a tourist-heavy location. The setting is nice, with a long bar and small tables all seeming intimate in the low lighting. Draft beer and sake flows freely, and it is a nice escape from this area of Midtown.
