PHILIPPINES
The parade is much like any in New York, a procession of politicians, high school bands, beauty contest winners, etc. But this parade has a prize at the south end of its run down Madison Avenue, a block of Philippine vendors cooking up many items for purchase.
Most vendors had "combo" deals which consisted of two choices and rice for $7 or $8. All the tables were similar, but finding the right one to choose from is just a matter of personal preference and whim.
